I love love love doing composites! I love how they come together and how I can start with one image and make up a whole story/world for it. I started with the image of the women (top left) and this is how my thought process began.
"Hmm. She's reaching for something, but for what? Maybe a book perhaps. But why a book? Maybe she's trying to escape from something, but escape from what? Her reality? Her world? Her life? What does her reality look like that she would feel the need to escape from it? Is it dark? Unfriendly? Dangerous? Or maybe she's dreaming. Maybe the book is her reality and she's trying to find a way out of this nightmare and back into the light. Is she curious? Desperate? Scared? Indifferent? Hmm, but maybe she likes being in the dark. Disappearing among the shadows. Maybe she's not reaching for the book to open it at all. Maybe she's trying to close the book and lock the world away......."
And that's how this image came to be. Not planned out. Simply written one question at a time. ♥
